De audio interface en de microfoon hebben mij op meerdere vlakken positief verrast. De Centro 2i2o heeft meer features en professionelere aansluitingen dan duurdere audio interfaces van bekendere merken. De microfoon klinkt gedetailleerd en warm en het statief voelt stevig aan. Wel raad ik je aan om de popfilter direct te vervangen door een Devine SPS 100 om zo je opnames te verbeteren.
Helaas moet ik concluderen dat de koptelefoon de zwakste schakel in dit indrukwekkende gezelschap is. Als je van plan bent veel op headphones te gaan werken is het misschien verstandig om (op den duur) een andere koptelefoon te zoeken die beter op je hoofd zit en je oren minder vermoeit. Als je muziek wilt mixen op headphones en je budget het toelaat valt ook bij de geluidskwaliteit nog wat te winnen. Er is dus ruimte om te upgraden maar dit is zeker een mooi begin.
Levering was snel, maar ik zie wel dat de de prijs van de set oploopt.
