As is expected from a DAW these days, Mixcraft Pro 7.5 works with both 32 and 64-bit plugins. If you already own an array of virtual instruments (or you've been browsing through Bax-shop's assortment), then you can use them in your tracks. For those who prefer large arrangements, this pack serves all your needs, starting with a virtually limitless number of MIDI and audio tracks. Automation is really getting interesting now, seeing as you can record several parameters simultaneously, allowing you to create engaging, dynamic music.
Record, play or program
Mixcraft 7.5 makes it possible to create 'real' recordings, as well as MIDI tracks. Connect a MIDI keyboard, for instance, and use it to play the included virtual instruments (organ, piano, drums, etc.), or to control the widely available external VST plugins. If you don't have a MIDI keyboard, or if you want to edit the notes, the software's practical piano roll and notation editors will certainly come in handy. Programming beats is a walk in the park with the step sequencer. Use the Performance Panel to trigger audio and MIDI clips, especially handy for live applications. Even if you want to edit videos, Mixcraft is the perfect solution.
