Sound Forge Pro 11 hardly gives Sony's competitors a fair chance. Software such as this is not widely available to begin with, and to make matters worse, Sound Forge Pro 11 offers an impressive set of professional editing, mixing and mastering tools. This eleventh version has been enhanced on several levels, resulting in an even more fine-tuned workflow and interface. This particular version is the educational edition, which allows music engineering and sound engineering students and other professional audio experts to dive into the detailed world of Sony Sound Forge Pro for a budget-friendly price.

SF Pro 11: new features

This edition of Sound Forge Pro is loaded with native DSP building blocks (for modulation, reverb, compression, etc.) as well as professional iZotope plug-ins. The complete Nectar Elements package is included, which allows for high-grade vocal processing. iZotope Mastering and Repair Suite is the ideal tool to restore and enhance your audio files. Using the Declipper, Denoiser and Declicker, you're able to filter out any unwanted ripples, artifacts and other flaws, without destroying the original source audio.

SpectraLayers integration

Another new feature of version 11 of Sound Forge Pro is the seamless integration with Sony SpectraLayers Pro 2. Audio files can be effortlessly transferred from Sound Forge to SpectraLayers, creating a powerful combination of waveform and spectrum editing. In addition to SpectraLayers, SF Pro 11 offers various spectral analysis tools and a Phase Scope, so you can study and edit your project audio in minute detail.
