Slap one of Steve's Donuts on your snare and completely change the sound. This 14-inch damping ring has a 6-inch hole at its centre and a non-slip rubber edge for stability. With the addition of this very special Donut, your snare will gain a more dull, dry and fattened low-end. The centred hole and smooth texture doesn't exactly accommodate brushes but if you prefer sticks and your snare needs a little more depth and punch on occasion, this is the damper it seeks.

De nijdige sound mijn snare drum klinkt dank zij de demping van de Big Fat Snare overlay een stuk vriendelijker.

Dit is mijn favoriet van de Big Fat series. Minder boventonen dankzij zijn dunne overlay, maar nog wel dezelfde attack en rebound door het gat in het midden.
