General
The Audioquest Dragonfly Red USB DA converter is an ideal accessory for people who listen regularly listen to music on their laptop. If you have a standard laptop, chances are the audio components are not top-quality, unless you've invested in a good audio interface. That means you're not hearing the best quality of music either. With the Audioquest Dragonfly Red, however, the audio components in your computer are bypassed, giving you 24-bit/96 kHz quality. Simply plug the USB DA converter into your computer, plug in your headphones and enjoy!

Not cheap, but really makes the most of your equipment - sometimes the gains seem marginal, but they are often noticeable, and I wouldn't want to go back.
I also use the Dragonfly Red with my iPhone 7 and Auto-technica studio headphones - great clarity, very enjoyable.

AudioQuest JitterBug USB Filter - the First of Its Kind!
Wednesday 15 July 2015USB is one of the most well-known interface connectors in the age of computer audio. External sound cards are usually connected to a computer using USB, for instance, and virtually everyone has a USB drive with music on it. The only problem is that electronic equipment can cause interference and noise in your audio. When that happens, the quality of your sound rapidly deteriorates, and in extreme cases it might even cause your audience to walk out the door, taking your reputation with them.
