General

The Sabian AAX Medium Crash Brilliant is the perfect 18-inch crash cymbal for explosive accents as well as popping rhythms. The brilliant finish supports a bright initial sound and since this crash has been crafted by a new technique using a hammer with a larger round face, the lower frequencies of the shaped B20 cymbal-bronze are noticeably more complex and even grubby. The bell is also a touch bigger and completes a cymbal capable of a more than satisfying frequency range.

The AAX Medium Crash Brilliant: Control

Just like every other cymbal included in this series, the AAX Medium Crash Brilliant has undergone the 'Autofocus Response' treatment that acts as a sort of built-in EQ to help filter out any jarring overtones and shapes a clear character that never gets too shrill, leaving the remaining frequencies harmonically balanced.
