Are you looking for a crash cymbal with the sophisticated sound of a thin ride, but with the power, volume and projection of a normal crash? Then this 18-inch Sabian AAX ISO Crash might be just the ticket. This musical crash cymbal has six holes punched around the bell that give it a bright sound and a pure, strong bell tone.

AAX ISO Crash: Vote Winner

Sabian's AAX ISO Crash is available in two different sizes: a 16-inch model, and this 18-inch model. Both versions were voted winners in Sabian's Cymbal Vote contest. For this competition, the Sabian R&D department developed a variety of different prototypes and allowed many drummers to try them out during a tour through the US and Europe. Furthermore, they uploaded sound clips of these cymbals to the Sabian website. Then they let people vote for their favourite cymbals and the winners would eventually be taken into production.
