General

The 18 inch edition of the Meinl Pure Alloy Custom Series crash features a dark smoked bronze finish and is Extra-Thin, lowering the weight to result in a balanced yet slicing response that never gets too shrill. The bow has been machine hammered and given an 'extra-large' treatment to result in an almost velvety playing feel, an enhanced mid-range sustain and darkly warm sound, while the dynamic range spans everything from a whisper to an explosive shout. Basically, the musical articulation of the Meinl PAC18ETHC crash can be adapted to fit practically any genre and playing technique.
