The cymbals from Meinl's MCS series are perfect for drummers who want a great sound without breaking the bank. This MCS14MC is a Medium Crash with a 14-inch diameter that has been produced and lathed in traditional fashion. It's made of B8 bronze, which consists of 92% copper and 8% tin, and that plays a large part in shaping this cymbal's sound.

The MCS14MC speaks quickly and has a crisp, punctuating attack. It has medium sustain and washes out into a nice, broad spread. Despite its moderate size, this cymbal manages to keep from sounding shrill or hollow. Plus, after production, all MCS cymbals are harmonically matched, which ensures an excellent, consistent sound for those who deck out their kit with many of these very affordable cymbals.
