For the Meinl Classics Custom Dual 16 inch crash, it's the immediate, explosive response followed by the short, dark sustain that makes this cymbal perfectly cut out for fast, aggressive styles like metal. The outer ring has been lathed and polished while the inner ring and the bell feature a special black coating that adds just enough warmth for taking on pop and rock.
