General

A good crash needs the right combination of attack, crispness, tone and cutting power - and of course you have personal taste to take into account. What is a fact, however, is that Meinl's Classics series contains numerous crashes that are both affordable and have a great sound. The C18TC is an 18-inch Thin Crash made of B8 bronze.

Meinl Classics C18TC

Thanks to its thin profile, this cymbal opens up very easily. It won't take much effort to create nuances in your sound, as this C18TC spreads its tone over a wide frequency range. It offers medium sustain and an open, washy tone that is slightly lower-pitched than that of its smaller, 16-inch sibling. Furthermore, this cymbal has a very gentle character that will effortlessly blend into a wide variety of setups and work well in virtually any genre, making the C18TC into a very appealing, reasonably prices cymbal!
