Keeping the weight low, the Meinl Classics Custom Dark thin crash has a fast attack and dark character with a warm timbre. The lighter playability of this cymbal supports more subtle and nuanced stick work while, at the same time, this crash is surprisingly adaptable, so it can just as easily form part of a studio kit as well as a stage kit. Since this model has been made from B12 bronze and hammered to shape by a computer, the result is maximum precision.
