General

The Meinl Candela series consists of professional cymbals that were designed to be played by hand, and the CA18CR is a pretty special part of that series. This Timbales Crash Ride is 18 inches in diameter and was completely hand-crafted to give each individual cymbal its own unique sound. It's not a very heavy cymbal, but it's still very durable, thanks to the renowned B20 bronze alloy. Furthermore, this crash/ride cymbal has been given a brilliant finish, which makes it look as great as it sounds.

Meinl Candela CA18CR

The Candela CA18CR is great to play by hand. Thanks to the chosen materials and the slight weight, this cymbal responds accurately to your touch, producing a soft and washy sound, with a dark and exotic character, while it can still produce a rich and warm crash sound when you really lay into it. It has a cutting, loud bell and medium sustain, giving your hands perfect control over the sound and volume of this unique Meinl Candela percussion cymbal.
