General

As you might have guessed from its name, Latin Percussion - ever the innovator - incorporated the rough surface of a güira (basically a kind of metal guiro) in this cowbell's design. This resulted in a percussion instrument that offers the best of both worlds. Furthermore, the LP225 can easily be mounted to any regular 3/8-inch rod, allowing you to incorporate its low-pitched sound with vibrant overtones into your drum kit, for instance. Of course, while the güira-side offers some nice variety, the LP225 also works great as a regular cowbell.
