General
The ever versatile conga has grown to becomes an essential component of a percussionists set up. The WC1134ZFA-M is an ample 11.75-inch conga from the Meinl Woodcraft Series and as such, has been carefully crafted using the highest quality, hand-selected materials. The natural buffalo-skin batter head lends this instrument its authentic and warm character while the extra fat, Cuban-style kettle shape gives the WC1134ZFA-M its distinctive depth.
Meinl WC1134ZFA-M: Detail
Two layers of American ash form this conga while the tension across the head is ensured by a specially designed TTR tension hoop for consistent tonal colour. The zebra-style wood-grain is finished in a tasteful mat lacquer and to finish the detailed design of the WC1134ZFA-M comes complete with a sound pad, tuning key and set of conga savers.
