The Meinl FL11BB 11-inch quinto, as part of the Floatune Series, is fitted with a highly innovative tuning system which, since no holes are drilled at all, the hardware makes no contact with the wood, giving it the space it needs to fully resonate. Made of high-quality rubber wood and topped with an equally high-quality buffalo-skin head, the FL11BB quinto has a comfortable playing height of 30-inches.

Finished in a high-gloss Brown Burl and mounted with chromed hardware, the look of this quinto matches the outstanding, professional level of its sound. The S.S.R. tension hoop is bevelled for prolonged playing comfort and, since it's held by bracings that extend down to the base of the drum, the wood freely resonates with warmth.
