General
The ATM350 is a clip-on instrument microphone by Audio Technica, which is designed for registration of wind instruments, piano, snare drums, toms and violin. This might sound like a difficult combination to master, but the ATM350 can do it! Its compact capsule has a cardioid pickup pattern and has a wide frequency response that runs from 40 to 20,000 Hz. The details of all your instrumental audio is picked up and transferred.
ATM350: sound potential
Naturally, each instrument has a different sound character. This is why Audio Technica have provided the ATM350 with a switchable roll-off for the low frequencies. When it is switched on, it ensures an attenuation of everything below 80 Hz, so that space is opened up in the mix. Thanks to the maximum sound pressure of 149 dB, it is no problem to position the ATM350 very close to loud instruments (like brass instruments). The ATM350 is delivered with two instrument clips and a soft carrying bag.
