General
There are various ways to amplify acoustic instruments like guitars, mandolins and ukuleles. Using an internal pickup or microphone doesn't always result in a natural sound, however. Placing a microphone in front of an instrument is another method but this prevents the performer from being able to move around. A better option is the DPA d:vote 4099G clip-on microphone. Many musicians don't like the thought of attaching a microphone to their expensive instruments, but the 4099G will soon convince them otherwise.
Hassle-free amplification
The DPA 4099G comes with a special clip to attach it to your acoustic instrument. As well as being easy to attach and remove, it will stay firmly in place without doing any damage. The mic features a gooseneck so that it can be positioned precisely which allows it to pick up the natural sound of your instrument with exceptional accuracy. You won't need a separate EQ as simply repositioning the microphone will give you exactly the sound you want.
Tips or comments about this product- For instruments with a body depth between 35 and 55 mm, the DPA 4099V can also be used.
