General

Audio Technica's ATM350W consists of the enhanced ATM350a condenser microphone and the AT8491W woodwind mounting system. The latter features a 12.7cm gooseneck for optimal positioning. The UniMount system allows you to use the microphone with a large number of different instruments, even though the ATM350W is especially developed for wind instruments. The condenser mic can handle a very high sound pressure level, making it suitable for instruments with broad dynamic ranges.

Focused audio thanks to cardioid pickup pattern

The ATM350a's audio remains focused and clear at all times thanks to its cardioid pickup pattern. Any sound from the sides or behind the mic are filtered out, resulting in a pure representation of the audio source. There is also an 80Hz high-pass filter on the microphone that filters out low frequencies and noise when activated. Finally, the gooseneck is made of a durable material that is both robust and flexible, allowing easy and optimal positioning in seconds.
