Het compressie-effect uit de Route 66 is, op verzoek van vele gitaristen, uitgebracht als losstaand effect. De Visual Sound Comp 66 is het resultaat, uitgerust met dezelfde compressie-circuits en regelingen. Dat betekent dat ook de Comp 66 moeiteloos het geluid van een vintage Dyna Comp en Ross compressor nabootst, gekoppeld aan uitgebreide instellingen. Zo zien we niet alleen een compressie-regeling, maar tevens een schakelbare tone-regeling, een milde, maar effectieve noise gate en een gain-knop. Met deze laatste laat u de ingebouwde voorversterker een cleane boost produceren. Een zeer praktische compressor in een extreem sterke behuizing!
