This Mega HEX PAR by American DJ is compact and is designed to be barely noticeable when set up. It is equipped with 6-in-1 RGBAW-UV LEDs that produce colour combinations that go beyond the standard 4-in-1 configuration. Its sit-flat construction enables you to place it on a flat surface or suspend it in a truss. Its power and DMX connectors are located on the side instead of the rear for easy access. Naturally, it offers DMX functionality for versatile usage and five operating modes that include a sound-activated program. Control the device using the included remote or by means of the optional myDMX or Airstream DMX Bridge.

Ive used them for lots of different things like photography, theatre and effect lighting. A very power light with great colours and very versatile. The power linking is very helpful as well allowing multiple fixtures to be plugged in to one socket. Also, these lights can compete with generic theatre Lights to produce a colour wash for theatre productions.
overall very happy with the 4 i bought.

Maar eigenlijk mag je niks te klagen hebben voor een par van 80 euro!

Minpunten niet gevonden.
De lamp heeft zeer mooie warme kleuren, vooral in vergelijk met wat oudere Ledparren.
UV is niet heel duidelijk te zien op de muur maar het UV effecht is wel duidelijk merkbaar, het blacklight effect is goed te zien.
De witte led is ook echt mooi wit, goed fel ook dus ideaal om ook als strobe te gebruiken.
De amber led is wel erg oranje om als warm wit te dienen maar 't is dan ook amber en geen warm wit.. in combinatie met andere kleuren kan je zeer volle en warme kleuren krijgen.
RGB kleuren zijn ook erg diep van kleur en mengen erg goed met de andere kleuren.
Ik stuur de lamp zelf via de 12chn DMX modus aan en dat gaat zeer makkelijk, een apart dimmerkanaal maakt alles een stuk makkelijker dan wanneer je de RGB kleuren apart van elkaar moet dimmen zoals met die oude ADJ P56Led plus lampen, die had geen dimmer maar een trage strobe zeg maar.
Over strobe gesproken, de Mega Hex heeft 3 verschillende strobe settings, standaard, met dim en random.
Vooral de random mode is erg mooi om te zien.
Gebruik je thuis natuurlijk zelden tot nooit maar als het thuis al een mooi effect geeft doet het 't vast ook goed op feestjes.
Paar van deze lampen in een chase met random strobe zetten en 't is net alsof je in een professionele club aan het draaien bent.
Ik ben erg tevreden met deze lamp, ik ga er ook zeker meer van kopen over niet al te lange tijd.
MAAR, er zijn ook wel twee nadelen. Ik heb ondertussen 2 moeten vervangen omdat de plastic behuizing was gesneuveld. Ook is de beugel om de lamp als frontlight te gebruiken erg zwak en na 2/3x gebruiken moet je alle schroefjes aandraaien. Dat is jammer. Wij hebben dit opgelost door een staaldraadje tussen de twee uitschuivende elementen te plaatsen. Dan kunnen de elementen niet verder uit elkaar zakken. Maar dat is natuurlijk niet optimaal.
