When you're looking for a compact, low-profile source of light for several applications, the FLAT PAR QWH12X by American DJ might be just the thing. Behind its renewed lens, this device is equipped with an RGBW light source with 12 QUAD-LEDs of 5 watts each. This enables it to create all sorts of colours, but also cool white light.

American DJ FLAT PAR QWH12X

This compact fixture houses several functions. You can make the QWH12X play one of its pre-set programs, fixed or dynamic, or allow it to respond to sound. For more structured and programmable effects, this device features DMX connections and 8 DMX channels.

Mounting and applications

The QWH12X is a compact fixture with a double bracket that allows you to put it on the ground or fly it from a truss. As the power and DMX inputs are on the side, the QWH12X can lie fully flat, projecting light upwards. Its applications are endless, from wall washing, both inside and outside, to stage lighting. Thanks to the cool LED technology, this device produces virtually no heat, which is commonly appreciated by artists.

These two Flat Pars, the QA12XS and the QWH12XS by American DJ are nearly identical. They feature the same dimensions, power consumption and functions! The difference can be found in the fourth colour that's been added to the fixtures' range. In the case of the QA12XS this is Amber, while the QWH12XS features White.
