A solid construction and good looks can go hand in hand - that goes for Road Ready flight cases especially. The manufacturer's cases look quite stylish, but still boast technical properties to write home about. While you're transporting your valuable equipment from one party to the next, keeping it safe is paramount, of course, but being able to present your gear in a nice way is a great bonus. Fortunately, Road Ready's cases score high on both accounts. This particular model is even equipped with caster wheels, which makes transporting it even easier.
The Road Ready RR12M16UC is a combo case that offers twelve units of rack space on top. That means there's plenty of room for a sizeable 19-inch PA mixer or DJ mixer and a controller for a dual CD player or DJ software. As the top rack is slanted, you have easy access to your potentiometers and faders, and a clear view of your displays.
The case's vertical rack gives you another 16 rack units for your peripherals. An amplifier, an equalizer, a CD player with two CD drives, a connector panel, a processor, a crossover - you name it, this rack can accommodate it. Perfect for compact PA setups!

Deksels aan boven en voorkant zijn makkelijk open te krijgen met de stevige vlindersloten.
Hij is zelfs hoog genoeg om er een paar statieven in op te bergen.
De wielen rijden heel goed en soepel, zelfs als de rem erop zit want dan wil hij nog wel een beetje verschuiven.
Deze case kan echt tegen een stootje en er kan een hoop in opgeborgen worden. Alles wat ik er ingebouwd heb, paste gelijk goed.
Voor dit bedrag stevig en goed gebouwd.
Alles paste goed en was goed gemonteerd.
Dit rack gebruik ik als taperack en deze is 3x per week on the road.
Hij is mooi diep waardoor er veel ruimte achter de apparatuur is om de kabels weg te weren voor een net rackje
Daarnaast door de diepte veel ruimte bovenin voor de apparatuur.
Het bovendeel loopt schuin op dat is erg ideaal voor de bediening.

Aan de achterkant van het schuine bovendeel zit een open loze ruimte waar je zo het rack in kijkt.
Zelf heb ik dit nog afgewerkt met een 3U Blindplaat voor een wat strakkere afwerking.
De lak is erg krasgevoelig, na mijn eerste klus met dit rack zaten er al aardig wat krassen op.
De kist zit stevig in elkaar en is voorzien van voldoende vlindersloten, hengsels, een blindplaat voor het menpaneel en een ruim luik aan de achterkant.
Wordt geleverd met voldoende rackware om mee te beginnen. De wielen kunnen eenvoudig worden gemonteerd, of je kan gaan voor de rubberen doppen die er standard onder zitten.
Bovenin heb ik een Mackie Onyx 1640i hangen, en daar is meer dan voldoende ruimte voor. Ik ben zeer tevreden met deze aankoop.
