General
Most guitarists love the sound of a tube amp but also want a choice of as many classic, well-known amp sounds as possible. With their AV30 Analog Valve modelling combo, VOX delivers the perfect solution. This 30-watt amp has two 12AX7 tubes, one in the preamp and one in the power amp. You'll have two channels at your disposal, both of which can be modelled using eight fully-analogue preamp circuits. The only digital aspect of this amp is a trio of effects that you can control individually through the Original 10-inch speaker.
AV30 Analog Valve: modern amp with a vintage look
Implementing two 12AX7 tubes was no accident. Most standard modelling amps are digitally programmed these days, but the AV30 works on an entirely different principle. Depending on which of the eight voicings you select, a different circuit is activated that produces another sound. This way, you can call up a clean Bassman sound, a crunch or overdrive that's reminiscent of VOX's own original AC30, or a typical American hi-gain sound. Thanks to two channels, you can easily switch between clean and overdrive. If you care about your neighbours, you can use the headphone input to continue rocking without disturbing your surroundings.
More options
On each channel, this Analog Valve features a gain and volume knob as well as a 3-band EQ (bass, treble, mid), so you can really tweak your own personal sound. For even more fun, use the four sliders located at the bottom right of the control panel to add low and/or high to the preamp tube and adjust the power amp's response for a modern or more retro sound. To top it all off, you can even add all three effects (Chorus, Delay, and Reverb) simultaneously! Last but not least, this combo has an aux input so you can play along with your MP3 player, or hook up an external speaker.

Ook fijn is dat je hem zowel in thuissituatie als op een podium kunt gebruiken door de powerlevel potmeter. Ook op laag volume heb je een mooi geluid en blijje buren :-)
Genoeg instellingen om op elke gitaar en in elke stijl een lekker geluid te hebben.
Ik gebruik de ingebouwde chorus en delay niet, heb ik al pedaaltjes voor. De reverb is goed.
Dan de versterker , Geweldig afgewerkt super strak. Maar dan het geluid , mooi vol in elk kanaal. Heel direct en top mogelijkheden in de verschillende pre amps. Een echte aanwinst in het toch al mooie assortiment van Vox. Zelfs mijn gitaarleraar was onder de indruk. Van clean tot super overdrive is alles mogelijk. En de lampen maken echt het verschil . Een echte aanrader voor de gitarist die nog opzoek is naar zijn eigen geluid.
