Built for the genuine connoisseur tone-chasers, the VHT Special 6 combo amplifier is home to a hand-wired and mod-ready 'eyelet board'. The potent tube-driven sound of this boutique-grade combo is shaped by a 12AX7 preamp valve and a 6V6 power amp valve, and can be given a sweet gain boost to flip from a rhythm to lead tone and back again using the included external fooswitch. All of this is voiced by a neat 10 inch VHT High-Sensitivity speaker loaded with a larger-than-average magnet to ensure excellent sonic spread.
The VHT Special 6: Epic Style
Fitted with a power switch, this refined amp can be shifted from a high, into a low power setting, halving the output while retaining the full quality of sound - perfect for rehearsals and studio sessions. Shifted back into high power mode, the Special 6 delivers more than enough volume to compete with the drummer. Considering these high-end features and the hand-wired construction, this amp gives you more than enough value for your hard earned money.
