General

The Orange TH30C Thunder is a sleek guitar combo with a full-tube amplifier circuit. This stylish guitar amplifier - in iconic orange - has a power of 30 watts wrought by four EL84 power tubes. It harnesses a Celestion 12-inch, which is ready to roar loud and clear. Moreover, the TH30C is a 2-channel combo that is equipped with a Clean channel (for a warm sound with healthy punch) and a Dirty channel (luring out a hard rock shredding sound without the tonal weight or tired sound that other amps sometimes have). These channels are a wonderful base from which to launch the effects of your foot pedals via the effects loop.

Volume control without tonal loss

A downside of the characterful tube amplification is that certain tones only come into existence when you push the tubes to the ragged edge. To make sure you don't have to play at top volume for the desired sound all the time, the Orange TH30C features a switch that allows you to use half its power. Additionally, you can choose between 7 and 15 watts (both with 2 and 4 tubes) and 30 watts of output power, so you can have the right sound - always.
