If Mesa Boogie amps are your go-to and you're looking to add ultimate flexbility, the Triple Crown Series TC-50 combo is sure to put a smile on your face. Use the Bias Select switch to switch between the EL34, 6V6 and 6L6 tubes fitted in the power amp section for a versatile, high-gain sound. Mesa Boogie is considered a legendary brand within the amp industry, so this TC-50 will give you everything in between overtone-rich overdrive and crisp cleans.

TC-50 Combo: Powerful, defined and a small scoop

This Mesa Boogie amplifier has also been equipped with six 12AX7 tubes and a 12AT7 tube. These bless this Triple Crown combo with a superb bass-filled guitar sound with clear highs and a little scoop in the mid-range, pushed through the single Celestion Vintage 30 12-inch speaker for a powerful sound reminiscent of countless rock 'n' roll classics. Next to the possibility to link up external speaker cabs, there's a CabClone DI XLR output you can use to send your rockin' sounds to the mixing desk.

Channels, switching & effects loop

The Triple Crown Series amplifier offer three channels: clean, lo gain and hi gain. Each channel has its own 3-band EQ and gain, presence and master controls. Use the tight/norm switch to toggle a regular, vocal-like rock sound or a tighter version suitable for rhythm parts. The foot switch that comes with the TC-50 can be used to switch between the various effects, including built-in reverb. There's a mono effects loop for all of your external effects and MIDI in and Thru outputs provide you with even more options.

Mesa has continued their glorious tradition by using four EL-84 power tubes in the amplifier, contrary to the earlier Mark Five Twenty-Five, that had to manage with 'only' two. This amp, preceded by the Nomad, Mini Rectifier Twenty-Five and the Caliber, has been released onto Mesa's mini platform in a combo as well as a head version.
