The Line 6 Spider JAM 75-watt guitar combo sets itself apart from all the others in that it allows you to play along with pre-programmed loops and jam tracks. This amazing device has twelve high-quality amplifier models and seven studio-grade guitar effects on offer. Don't feel like programming? Then choose from more than 200 presets sorted by artist/band and more than 150 sorted by music/style. Additionally, you can record up to 24 minutes of your jam session with the built-in looper. The Line 6 Spider JAM is equipped with a sound-on-sound looper that allows you to record several tracks at once. First you can record two rhythm sections and then add a multi-track solo, for instance - there's a solid 24 minutes of recording time. You can choose from more than a hundred loops and jam tracks played by first-class session musicians. Get ready for endless playing pleasure with the Line 6 Spider JAM!
Line 6 Spider JAM: all the ins and outs
The Line 6 Spider JAM is suitable for several instruments, as you can also connect a bass guitar or keyboard (for instance) to the aux input. The XLR input has its own volume control and is meant for your vocal microphone. Moreover, you can play along with your favourite tunes or drum computer via the CD/MP3 input. Are you woken up by a certain bout of nighttime inspiration but are you hesitant to play because it might bother the neighbours? Then connect some headphones to the headphone output and the speaker is muted. Also, you can connect a PC or a recording device to the two RCA outputs for POD-quality recordings.
Tips or comments about this productYou can use the optional Line 6 FBV2 or FBV Express MKII foot switch to remotely engage the presets.

Beter dan ik had verwacht
Il a toutes les qualités que peu rechercher un guitariste amateur comme moi, qui cherche avant tout à se faire plaisir et à travailler son instrument: élégance, simplicité, un accordeur intégré, des effets, de nombreuses connectiques et un panel de sons et accompagnements, bien au delà de ce qui m'est nécessaire. Le must, c'est la possibilité de s'enregistrer, dès qu'on trouve un riff ou solo sympa. Franchement, je trouve sa sonorité super et pour moi il n'y a pas à polémiquer sur la prétendue moindre qualité des amplis à modélisation comparée à celle de leurs grands frères à transistor ou à lampe. Je laisse ce débat aux pros, car l'essentiel ici: c'est son tout en 1.
Un bémol ? Aucun pour l'instant, faudra voir à l'usage; c'est mon 1er ampli de modélisation j'espère juste que l'informatique embarquée ne sera pas source de problèmes (bug où produit qui ne soit plus mis à jour à terme et présente des problèmes de compatibilité); d'ailleurs j'envisage de commander d'autres SD 2GB, au cas où (capacité maximale des SD acceptées par l'ampli, alors même que cette capacité de stockage est aujourd'hui largement dépassée).
Bref un achat que je ne regrette pas et recommande.
Er gaat een wereld voor je open met alle drum tracks en mogelijkheden met de loop. Verder is het voor mij fijn dat er heel veel verschillende mogelijkheden in zitten waardoor je redelijk goedkoop de beschikking hebt over echo, reverb en allerlei andere effecten. Ik raad het ook zeer aan om het line 6 fbv shortboard erbij te kopen. Dit is heel makkelijk met onder andere het loopen en je kan snel switchen tussen tonen door je eigen presets.
Het enige minpunt voor mij is dat hij erg krachtig is waardoor ik het mastervolume nooit harder zet dan standje 5 van de 10. Aangezien ik alleen thuis ermee speel is deze kracht dus voor mij onnodig. Al met al heb geen seconde spijt gehad van deze aankoop.
75 watt is wel eigenlijk veel te powerful voor thuisgebruik, maar ja... de JAM is er niet lichter. Je zit dus steeds heel laag in volume (2 a 3 op schaal 10) en dat komt geluid niet ten goede. Dus je gaat dan toch op 3-4 zitten en dan komt er al snel een gezinslid naar de zolder "of de #$@#% herrie wat minder kan". :)
Ik raad dus toch aan ! (en koop oordopjes..)

versterkers in je kunt er echt alles mee
Verder 1 minpunt: namelijk dat ik dit product niet eerder gekocht heb!

Gekocht bij Bax omdat ze het voor dezelfde prijs leveren als b.v Thomann en vaak goedkoper dan Verpuijof Feedback. Vrijdag besteld en verdomd, zaterdag in huis. Hulde. Het is minder geweest bij Bax maar men gaat daar echt met sprongen vooruit!
