General

The Fender Champion 100XL is a stern, 100 watt guitar combo from the XL series. Cloaked in black, this amp offers enough gain and sound options to make the modern guitarist very happy indeed! Using the included footswitch, you can toggle between 2 channels. The first is a straight-up, clean Blackface sound while the second takes your guitar through a voice-selector offering a choice of 12 different amplifier emulators. Just to make sure your guitar sound is extra loud and clear, Fender have installed two 12 inch Midnight speakers from the legendary Celestion.

Champion 100XL: more than enough sounds and effects to choose from!

On each of the two channels on this amp, you can select an effect and control its level precisely with the FX level pot. The FX bank gives you 12 options with tap-tempo and includes the essentials like chorus, reverb, delay en Vibratone. If you want to throw your pedal board into the mix, it can be looped in via the 'pre out' and 'pwr in' connectors on the front. Naturally, there is a volume pot per channel but on the second channel you also get a gain pot to really push this amp for a bigger sound. To dial in your tone perfectly, there is also a treble and bass control on each side. Both rock and metal guitarists should have no trouble finding everything they need in this XL version of the Fender Champion.

Mooie clean klanken en ook distortion stelt niet teleur.

Ook een brede waaier aan effecten aan boord.

Deze Fender gisteren ontvangen en gelijk uitgepakt en getest.
Wat een krachtpatser. De volume kan je wel thuis niet ver openzetten anders danst de volledige straat mee.
De effecten die er opzitten klinken lekker alleen de verschillende FXen schommelen qua volume maar dat regel je zo weer bij.
Zeer gebruiksvriendelijk en alles staat netjes aangegeven.
De voetswitch is een handige tool om je effecten aan en uit te zetten.
En zoals altijd de service van Bax was weer top.
Een echte aanrader.
