General
Blackstar's successful ID:Core series has been revamped and re-released as the ID:Core V2! All six voices (clean warm, clean bright, crunch, super crunch, OD1, OD2) have been improved and Blackstar are of the opinion that they offer the best sounds in this particular price class. A type of auto wah envelope filter has been added to the effects section that enables you to play funky chords and leads. The chorus and flanger have been combined to create a beautiful, smooth sound. The tuner has also been enhanced so that you can switch it on with one button instead of two.
ID:Core Stereo V2: still complete
The ID:Core Stereo V2 is by all means still the same amplifier that put Blackstar on the map. With its choice of voices and effects, you can create one incredible guitar sound after another, and make it sound more British or more American by means of the ISF control. Despite this amplifier's small size, its stereo effects will fill an entire room with ease thanks to Blackstar's renowned Super Wide Stereo technology. For further editing and recording purposes, you can download the free INSIDER software. Blackstar's goal is to inspire people to never stop playing, which is no problem with the Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 10 V2!

Zeer te vreden over het geluid en de mogelijkheden die geboden worden voor op de computer
Heeft standaard al wat effecten aanwezig, zo ook een tuner, en redelijk uitgebreide toonregeling.
6 verschillende voices, van Clean warm tot OD2. 3 effektgroepen met elk 4 effecten.
Je kunt mbv de software instellingen opslaan en/of inlezen. Als je dus de perfekte instelling gevonden hebt, kun je met een druk op de knop die instelling weer ophalen en gebruiken.
Heeft hoofdtelefoon aansluiting en USB (voor pc aansluiting). Ook een line-in voor bijv. mp3 speler zodat je met je favoriete muziek kunt oefenen zonder twee setups/speakers nodig te hebben.
Al met al een heel fijne versterker, met veel mogelijkheden, voor weinig geld.
Gekocht om thuis mee te repeteren zonder dat mn buren er last van hebben. Toch gaat hij nog best hard en klinkt hij enorm groot door de stereo configuratie. Elke preset klinkt van zichzelf al goed en de effecten zijn ook goed en klinken mooi breed. Toch is ie lekker klein en past prima op mn bureau. Ook al geprobeerd een microfoontje ervoor te hangen en het resultaat was erg goed. Overweeg zelfs om hem in de studio te gebruiken.
De Blackstar Insider software die erbij hoort kan je gratis downloaden van de Blackstar site. Hiermee kan je zelf patches maken en deze opslaan. Dit kan je op de versterker zelf op maar in de software heb je een wat uitgebreidere EQ (Wat handig is wat deze amp heeft wat veel low end wat je er niet uit kan halen zonder de software).
De gratis versie van Studio One die je erbij krijgt raad ik af. Door Latency word het lastig om goede opnames te maken.
Buiten dat gewoon een topding voor thuis.
Levering van Bax was uiteraard super.
