General

Finished in elegant style, the Ortega Performer Series R158 classical guitar features the tonal depth and articulate definition of a solid Alaskan spruce soundboard and walnut body as well as a purpleheart fretboard. Purpleheart wood is native to South America and gets its name from the naturally dark, purplish colouring, and here, gives the sound of this model an extra-warm edge. The walnut, maple and mother-of-pearl inlaid soundhole rosette add another deluxe touch, and so this performance-ready guitar can be carried safely between rehearsals and venues, it comes pre-wrapped in a padded gig bag made from strong nylon and finished with two accessories compartments.
