The warm, detailed, powerful sound of the Yamaha GC-32C classical guitar isn't just for the ambitious amateur but for the advanced guitarist as well. This reliable high gloss Yamaha instrument has an entirely solid wood body for optimal resonance, great dynamics and a rich sound that you could never get from a laminated model.

The GC32C and its wood types

The most important factor in shaping the sound of a guitar lies in the materials used to build it, particularly the wood used for the top. Yamaha have selected a beautiful reddish-brown, American cedar top for the GC32-C, giving it a rich, warm and deep sound. The solid rosewood sides and back add sparkling highs and sultry lows and you can keep it all safe and sound in the included Yamaha soft case.

A touch of brilliance

The nut and saddle space the strings of a guitar and literally keep them in place. Those of the Yamaha GC-32-C are made from real bone. Compared to the synthetic material that's typically used for the nut and saddle, bone is much harder, ensuring that the strings won't cut into the parts and become muted or stuck. This adds further clarity to the overall sound of the guitar. Finally, the GC series ebony fretboard adds a nice, brilliant touch to a comfortable playing, rich sounding instrument.
