The Yamaha CG-12C is a classical acoustic guitar from the GC series that's excellent for playing classical or pop music. This warm, reliable Spanish guitar features high-gloss lacquer and has not only a solid top but solid sides and back as well. With this guitar you can count on getting the excellent full sound that you would never be able to achieve with a laminated guitar. A more than fantastic instrument for the serious beginner.

The build of the GC12C

The solid cedar top provides the Yamaha GC12-C its reddish-brown colour and its warm sound. Light brown mahogany makes up the sides and back, and ebony was used to fashion the fretboard, which adds a nice dose of clarity to the overall sound. The Yamaha GC-12-C includes a sturdy soft case for protecting, storing and transporting your new instrument!
