General
There's nothing better than the sound, playability and look of a handmade instrument. Luthiers put their hearts and souls into every inlay, and work to ensure that every last detail breathes perfection. The Perez Luthier Flamenco is one such instrument. This top-quality nylon-string acoustic guitar was made by Spanish luthiers following centuries of tradition and using only the best materials. It's not surprising then that you'll find this calibre of instruments on stages all over the world. Because this is such a special instrument, it also comes with a beautiful leather-finished case so you can keep it protected and transport it in style.
Characteristic sound of the Perez Luthier Flamenco
Flamenco guitars are known for their loud, tight, bright sound. They need to produce enough volume and projection to be able to serve as lead instruments alongside the percussive footwork and powerful vocals of Flamenco singers. The Perez Luthier Flamenco offers you exactly that. It has a traditional design with a solid German spruce top and sides/back made of cypress. The neck is made of lightweight cedar and features a black ebony fretboard for some extra punch in the trebles. Furthermore, the string nut and bridge saddle are even made of real bone, which creates a bright, direct tone.
Impeccable finish and elegant details
One glance at the Perez Luthier India Cedro and you'll realize what a high-quality instrument you're dealing with. The guitar has been tastefully finished with rosewood bindings, colourful wooden inlays along the edges of the body, and a detailed rosette made with different colours of wood. The entire guitar has an ultra-thin high-gloss layer of lacquer as well, to give it a beautiful sheen and to provide unimpaired resonance. Finally, a set of luxurious gold-plated tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons grace the headstock for a nice bit of chic yet functional detail. In order to avoid damaging the thin top with your fingernails, the Perez Luthier Flamenco comes with an adhesive transparent pickguard.
