Apart from the exclusive handmade Luthier series, the 711 Abeto is the top classical guitar model from the Spanish brand Perez. This beautifully finished instrument offers the same great sound and fantastic playability as its more expensive family members, but it has a friendlier price tag. That doesn't mean there was any sacrifice on quality though, and you’ll see right away that the Perez 711 Abeto is an incredibly high-quality all-solid acoustic guitar with a fantastic finish. It also comes with a lightweight yet sturdy case to keep it safe while in storage and during transport.
Full, bright sound of the Perez 711 Abeto
Thanks to its all-solid construction, the Perez 711 enjoys a full, bright, lively sound. Its solid top is fashioned from class A German spruce, and the solid sides are made of beautifully grained Indian rosewood. Furthermore, Perez gave the guitar a cedar neck to keep the weight of the instrument lighter and add warmth to the overall sound. The neck is coupled with a black 19-fret ebony fingerboard for extra directness and bite. Finally, an ebony reinforcement strip runs through the entire neck to keep it straight and stable.
Neat, stylish finish
It's not only the construction of the Perez 711 Abeto that reveals the excellent craftsmanship that went into its making: the sleek finish indicates it as well. This classical guitar has been tastefully decorated with multiple layers of bindings including rosewood body bindings, and it also features a detailed handmade wooden rosette. The entire guitar has an ultra-thin high-gloss layer of lacquer as well, to give it a beautiful sheen and to provide unimpaired resonance. It's all topped off with a set of chic gold-plated tuners with mother-of-pearl buttons.
