The Perez 690 Cedro is a high-quality instrument for serious classical guitarists looking for a warm, dark sound. This Spanish guitar features a first-rate cedar top, which is nicely matched with Indian rosewood sides and back. All of the wood is solid instead of laminated, just like that of professional concert guitars. The all-solid cedar and rosewood construction offers a particularly full, deep sound with sweet trebles. Other features of the Perez 690 Cedro include a lightweight cedar neck with a beautiful ebony fretboard for that bit of extra brightness and attack.

Sound and construction aren't the only indicators of the quality of a classical guitar; you can also determine a lot from the guitar's finish. Luckily, this classical guitar is just as expertly finished with tasteful details as the guitars from Perez's exclusive Luthier series. The body, for instance, features multi-layered wooden bindings on the front and the back that include Indian rosewood. You'll also find a colourful handmade wooden rosette for a nice touch of craftsmanship. Finally, this guitar also has an extra-thin high gloss layer for optimal resonance. The Perez 690 Cedro comes with a lightweight case to protect it from possible damage during transport.
