This nylon-string acoustic guitar was hand-crafted in Spain and offers you the kind of sound, playability and finish you'd expect from a guitar made by expert luthiers, only at a much friendlier price. The Perez 660 Abeto has a standard 4/4 sized body with a solid spruce top that provides a lovely, full sound with enough brightness and sparkle.
Design of the Perez 660 Abeto
Spruce is used quite often for building guitars and is known for creating a full sound that is still bright and defined. The sides and back of the Perez 660 are fashioned from Indian rosewood - a dark, lovely grained wood that provides deep, warm bass tones and a sparkling high. Furthermore, the mahogany neck is equipped with a 19-fret fingerboard that adds a nice extra bit of bite in the trebles. Finally, the neck has also been equipped with an ebony reinforcement strip for extra strength and stability and an added hint of chicness.
Neat, stylish finish
The finish of the Perez 660 Abeto simply radiates artisanship. Just like its older brothers, this guitar has a lovely, no-frills finish with subtle decorations such as rosewood bindings and a colourful wooden rosette. A dark reinforcement strip strengthens the neck and adds a chic touch, and thin layer of high-gloss lacquer makes it complete. Finally, the Perez 660 is also available with a solid cedar top (Cedro model) for a warmer, darker sound.
