General
The Perez 650 Cedro was built in Spain by expert artisans to offers you the kind of sound, playability and finish that you can only get from hand-crafted instruments. Fortunately, the price is atypical of such quality - despite the affordability of this entry-level nylon-string guitar, the quality is incredibly high. The Perez 650 Cedro has a solid red cedar top and beautifully grained Indian rosewood for the sides and back. Furthermore, the comfortable mahogany neck is paired with a 19-fret fingerboard and strengthened by an ebony reinforcement strip for maximum stability.
Perez 650 Cedro: warm, deep sound
The combination of the cedar top and rosewood sides/back creates a warm, deep sound. Because it's a solid-top guitar, it also provides more resonance compared to a laminated top, as the vibrations travel from the strings to the rest of the body more easily. It also means that you get more volume, better projection and an overall fuller sound. Extra sustain is another advantage of a solid-top guitar, which means that your notes and chords keep ringing longer - an important quality for a good classical guitar!
Neat, stylish finish
The finish of the Perez 650 Cedro simply radiates artisanship. Just like its older brothers, this guitar has a lovely finish, which adds to a tasteful no-frills look with subtle decorations such as rosewood bindings and a colourful wooden rosette. A dark reinforcement strip gives the neck a chic look, and a thin layer of high-gloss lacquer finishes the guitar off beautifully. The Perez 650 is also available in the Abeto version with a solid spruce top for a brighter, more sparkling sound.
