General

One of the most stunning blends of black and brown, the Ortega Performer Series RE238SN-BKT electro-acoustic classical guitar has been entirely built according to traditional Spanish methods. Coated in a glossy black, the solid Alaska Sitka spruce top lays down an intensely resonant foundation full of rich lows, which are balanced by the warmth of the mahogany back and sides while the lighter maple binding and the Ortega signature rosette complete the definitively elegant look of this effortlessly playable, slim-neck classical guitar.

Comprehensive Design

Picking up where the popular Family Pro Series left off, the Ortega Performer Series spans an extensive range of differently decked-out, equally accessible guitars. The Ortega RE238SN-BKT is the full-size, cutaway-less version of the bunch and comes equipped with an extra narrow neck that has been secured to the body based using a traditional method called a Spanish heel. The neck has also been fitted with a truss rod to accommodate custom set-ups while, for microphone-free recording and accurately amplified on-stage sound, Ortega have polished off the electro-acoustic build with Ortega MagusGo electronics.
