General
Fender’s MC-1 is a ¾-size guitar that was designed specifically for beginner guitarists. It is a properly built instrument, making it excellently suited for intense use. Thanks to its wood types, this guitar has a very warm tone that will also appeal to advanced guitarists, making this compact model a perfect travel guitar.
Construction
The top of the Fender MC-1 is made of sapele. The sides and back of this guitar are made of agathis and nato. Its nato neck features an 18-fret rosewood fretboard. Sapele, agathis and nato are wood types that have similar tonal properties to mahogany, giving this ¾-size guitar a remarkably pleasant, warm tone. Whether you buy it for yourself or your (grand) child, the Fender MC-1 is a perfect choice.
