The Multiac Grand Concert HG from Godin combines traditional building methods with modern technology. With a scale length of 25.5 inches and a 2-inch nut width, the guitar feels like the high-quality classical guitar it is. Any guitarist who is used to an acoustic classical guitar will immediately feel right at home when playing this instrument. Whilst the Multiac Grand Concert feels and sounds familiar, it offers unique and modern possibilities.

Jack and MIDI output

The Godin Multiac Grand Concert is a unique guitar. It is a nylon-stringed, classical guitar that can be amplified. The amplified sound is natural and sounds just like an acoustic guitar. The sound can be fine-tuned using the built-in 3-band equalizer. What really sets the Multiac apart from other electro-acoustic guitars, though, is the Synth Access output. This is a hexaphonic pickup that captures the sounds from each string and converts them into a MIDI signal. This makes it possible to control guitar synthesizers, like the Roland GR-55GK, directly from your guitar. Normally, you would need a special pickup mounted on your guitar to do such things, but with the Godin Multiac that's not necessary as it already has one built-in.

Wrote the following about Godin Multiac Grand Concert HG electro-acoustic guitar

Très bonne guitare electro-acoustique corde nylon. lutherie correcte, manche très ergonomique, sa largeur plus étroite qu'une classique (mais pas trop) est très agréable et on trouve rapidement ses repères. Le son est précis en classique comme en rythmique (idéal bossa) , nécessite toutefois un petite adaptation de son jeu dans le toucher (plus léger et plus précis) car le moindre bruit ou la moindre imprécision est irrémédiablement amplifié ,on y arrive toutefois .... Je l'ai testé avec un ampli AER et l'association est parfaite. les réglages sont limités, suffisants mais non identifiés et comme Godin a décidé de ne pas fournir de description de l'emploi des boutons on doit aller sur leur site. La housse de base fournie est assez correcte pour la maison, pour des déplacements je recommande un étui rigide.
J'ai acheté cette guitare avec un pack complet synthé GR-55 et cordon 13 broches 10m pour un rapport qualité prix imbattable ; livraison par UPS dans les délais. Investissement et service de qualité.
