Zildjian is without a doubt one of the most well-known cymbal manufacturers on the planet. There are countless drummers out there who would love to play Zildjian cymbals, but simply can't afford them. This series includes an 18-inch China, which offers a short, trashy sound that's perfect for accents.

The Planet Z series has made it possible for anyone to become a member of the Zildjian Family, even if they're on a limited budget. The entire Planet Z series is aimed towards drummers who are just starting out, and are suitable for any type of music. Because Zildjian wants to keep the price low, but also has a reputation to uphold, Planet Z cymbals are made on a machine but thoroughly checked before they leave the factory.
