Gritty, dark, and short are the three most important tonal characteristics of Zildjian's Special Dry cymbals from their K Custom series. With the addition of the strategically-placed cut-outs, you've got a China cymbal with an unmistakable trashy sound. This 18-inch Trash China is relatively thin and offers a bright, full-sounding attack. The sustain and decay are both short, which makes this cymbal particularly suitable for playing accents. It has an average volume level and is great for virtually any musical genre. Basically, the 18-inch Trash China is an indispensable addition to any all-round drummer's kit.
