Zildjian has been in the cymbal making business for a long time now. Since 1623, to be precise, when Avedis Zildjian I started it in Constantinople with the blessings of the sultan. Ever since that time, Zildjian has used a secret bronze alloy for their cymbals, and that well-kept secret has been passed down from generation to generation. The FX line consists of cymbals that create a unique sound, such as splashes, bells and china cymbals.
