The revolutionary Generation X series of cymbals from German manufacturer Meinl are created for drummers with vision. The modern, high-quality materials and fabrication methods lead to interesting cymbals. This 12-inch GX-12FCH Filter China is one of those interesting cymbals, and it was developed by Austrian drummer Thomas Lang, who gave it a sound all its own.
Meinl Generation X GX-12FCH
The characteristic china sound appeals to many different musicians. This Generation X china has a bright spread with plenty of tone and if you really lay into it, then it develops an impressive, trashy sound, while still being quieter than a regular china would be. Thanks to the waved edge, it has relatively short sustain. Finally, it's a very versatile cymbal. From fusion and jazz to hard rock, the GX-12FCH is a great addition to your palette!

Sabian is adding no fewer than 25 new cymbals to its range of products for the coming year. There are new additions to the AA, AAX, XSR, B8X and HHX series, as well as a number of interesting new Artisan Light and Artisan Elite cymbals.
