General

Thanks to its brash sound, the Meinl Classics C16CH china cymbal is a popular instrument amongst many drummers and percussion groups. It has a devastating, explosive attack that comes with a beautiful array of subtle bright undertones. The raw sound does exceptionally well on stage, but performs just as well in a recording environment.

The Classics series' wide range of cymbals

As a beginner drummer or percussionist, you want the sounds of your various cymbals to match well. Luckily, the Classics series offers a wide variety of cymbals that complement each other perfectly and have similar characters. All cymbals in this versatile series are made of B8 bronze, which largely consists of copper with some added copper and traces of silver.
