Daisy Rock's Wildwood Acoustic is a 3/4-sized acoustic guitar that's ideal for children. It's lightweight and has a thin, narrow neck which makes it comfortable and easy to play. Thanks to its compact dimensions, this model also makes a suitable travelling companion.

Het is een veel kleinere gitaar als de standaard maat Spaanse gitaar die ik eerst had gehaald, dus makkelijker voor mij om vast te houden en het geluid is er echt niet minder op! Wat een mooie klank komt er uit! Alle eerst moeilijke akkoorden gaan nu een stuk makkelijker, waardoor ik het idee heb dat ik eindelijk weer eens een beetje kan gaan leren spelen!
De kleur is in het echt meer roze. De voorkant is meer een zacht poeder roze en de zijkant van de gitaar wat meer paars. De ongelakte houten stukken zijn veel donkerder als op de foto. Voor mij geen probleem, gezien ik erg van roze hou, maar voor anderen misschien wel dus vandaar dat ik het even vermeld.
Ik gebruik nog steeds de snaren die erbij zaten. Alleen de twee hoogste snaren ontstemmen wat sneller dan de rest, maar ik hoef 'm eigenlijk maar 1 keer in de 3 dagen te stemmen. Wel zijn de steel snaren flink scherper dan de nylon snaren, dus moet ik nog even flink eelt kweken..
Als gehandicapte muzikant voel ik me toch wel snel al minder als de rest omdat ik bepaalde standaard grepen niet goed kan op een gewone gitaar, maar met deze gitaar kan ik ze gewoon wel! Ik heb eindelijk het gevoel dat ik zelf muziek maken weer kan oppakken, wat ik al 10 jaar niet meer kon. Ik ben echt ontzettend blij dat ik deze heb mogen scoren, het is echt mijn droomgitaar. Money well spent!
