Stagg CAJ-KID RD Children's Cajon with Back Support (Red)

This smartly designed children's cajon is made entirely from wood and is the perfect size for any budding percussionists aged around five years old. The Stagg CAJ-KID features an EasyGo back rest which encourages the correct playing posture, offering kids the best possible start, and since it comes with an internal snare, the snare sound of this great little percussive instrument can be adjusted at will. Smaller than standard cajons, the CAJ-KID does make a higher pitched snare, kick, and slap sound, but all of it is backed up by the warm response of the 9mm thick plywood build.

The Stagg CAJ-KID Cajon

The CAJ-KID has been built to offers children the most comfortable and ergonomic introduction to the cajon as possible. The box is made from seven-ply wood, while the more flexible playing surface is made from three-ply wood and here, has been painted red. Inside the box, two pairs of V-wires have been fitted, and it's these that vibrate to make the snare sound, which can be adjusted using the included key. The back support also has an integrated handle so the cajon can be carried easily, and the base has been fitted with anti-slip rubber feet to prevent it from shifting.
