Equipped with a pickup, the Meinl PJC50B Jam Series cajon can be comfortably hooked up to a speaker, amplifier, or PA system with the help of a standard jack lead. It's also pretty compact, so will serve as a great travel cajon or as a gigging buddy for smaller cafe and pub shows, and for larger stages, can be easily mounted on a compatible stand.
The Meinl PJC50B Jam Series Pickup Cajon
Built in Europe, the Jam Series Pickup Cajon has a Baltic birch playing surface that delivers a defined, low-punching kick sound when struck in the centre and a tight, high snare sound when struck closer to the top, while dual internal snare wires have been secured to the back of playing surface to support a distinctly fast and nicely sensitive response.

Great price for this cajon and swift delivery. My daughter has been playing drums for a year and has recently been motivated to try other percussion instruments. She really enjoys playing this cajon! Solid build quality … it’ll even take my weight! Very much a real instrument and not a toy version, like some cheaper derivatives. Very happy with the cajon and Bax Music.
