Flameco music is the marriage of guitars and cajons. It's no wonder that the Spanish Flamenco guitar-builder Manuel Rodriguez has developed this Nature series of string cajons. To achieve that authentic Flamenco sound, this cajon is equipped with two strings in a V tension. Naturally, it can be used for other music styles, or as an alternative to a drum kit at acoustic gigs. The instrument itself is finished in a layer of matte lacquer so the attractive wood grain comes through nicely.

Made of birch

The characteristically warm sound of this instrument is a result of its completely birch body. Not only is the sound sublime, but birch is an incredibly sturdy woody type, which is crucial for the durability of the cajon. The playing surface is also made of birch, which allows the bass as well as the high tones to really come through. For extra playing comfort, all the corners and edges have been rounded smoothly. The sound hole in the back panel amplifies the sound, and you can make the strings sound sharper or more muted using the tuning mechanism.
